Burnside Cottage is a dog friendly cottage in Northumberland making it an ideal choice for holidaymakers who prefer to bring their furry friends along on trips. We welcome dogs with open arms, and as dog owners ourselves we know how important it is to have them with you, so you can all enjoy the holiday.

In our cottage we provide large bowls for water and food, blankets for your dogs to join you on the sofa. Doggie beds with washable covers can also be provided if requested during booking.

Ideally located Burnside Cottage allows you to explore the beautiful North East countryside, the many parks and walks of Northumberland or the sites of Bardon Mill and surrounding villages are all equally close by. We really are an ideal location for the dog friendly holiday.

We guarantee we will make your dog’s feel at home and we have sourced some great information for you to really ensure you make the most of your stay in our dog friendly holiday cottage in Northumberland.

Rules for dogs staying at Burnside Cottage

We only allow up to 2 small dogs per stay.

Please keep your dogs off the furniture.

Please exercise pets outside of the garden.

Please remove pet hair from the carpets or furniture before you leave.

Please do not leave pets unattended in the property.

Please no dogs allowed upstairs or  bedroom beds.

Please use the crate provided or dog beds for sleeping arrangements.

The dog owner should preferably bring the dogs bed or basket for sleeping in.

Please pick up any dog poo around the cottage garden areas and dispose of appropriately.

Any fouling must be cleared up without delay inside and outside.

Dog owners must ensure that their pets are free from parasites and fleas before they occupy the Property. Failure to do so may incur subsequent charges.

Young dogs (e.g. puppies less than 6 months’ old) must be declared to the Owner at the time of booking and authorised by the Owner.

You will be liable for any damage caused by any Holidaymakers’ dogs. Any damage is to be reported to the Owner (or their representative) immediately. Any additional cleaning required, that may incur an additional charge, will be at the Owner’s discretion.
